The Coalition for a Drug-Free Greater Cincinnati has released a new campaign targeting parental and societal issues surrounding underage drinking.
"There's Nothing Cute About Underage Drinking," is the message of the commercials which feature images of 13 year-olds in a bar while the consequences and potential harms of underage drinking scroll beneath. The commercials were locally created and produced.
The Coalition enlisted the help of BrightLight Visual Communications, a Cincinnati-based production company to create the commercials.
Using a statistic from the 2008 Student Drug Use Survey that the regional average age of first alcohol use is 13.2 years old, a diverse, community-based committee helped design and shape the commercials.

The Coalition for a Drug-Free Greater Cincinnati would like to thank everyone involved in this important campaign.
