Technical Assistance
- Facilitate initial meetings (“What & Why a Coalition” presentation, materials)
- Provide hands-on TA to recruit key community member leaders (assist with phone calls, letters, visits)
- Assist in facilitating data collection & analysis to identify key issues
- Provide TA in development of annual plan (based on community readiness, “forcing awareness”)
- Provide tools/opportunities to build capacity (trainings, websites, materials, agencies, programs)
- Provide guidance in developing organizational structure (vision/mission, agenda, roles & responsibilities, committees, communication streams)
- Provide TA to expand initial community needs assessment
- Formalize relationships with systems in the community to implement single sector strategies
- Provide hands-on TA for grant writing (mini-grant, DFC, PWH, etc)
- Provide framework & TA in strategic plan development
- Provide guidance in development of governance structure (by-laws, 501c3)
- Assist in coordinating multiple strategy approaches across multiple systems to address key issues
- Assist in diversifying funding sources & securing additional operational funds
- Provide TA in sustainability plans (volunteer recruitment & retention, leadership succession, evaluation, communication with the community at-large)
- Participate as requested to address special needs
