Meet the Staff

INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR & VICE PRESIDENT OF COALITION STRATEGIES
Mary Haag, mhaag@drugfreecincinnati.org

Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with an emphasis in business management, from the College of Mount St. Joseph and is an Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist. She is experienced in bringing diverse sectors of the community together to create and implement comprehensive, collaborative approaches to substance abuse prevention. Mary brings to her position 10 years of experience in the field of substance abuse prevention and community coalition building. She has been instrumental in leading the Coalition's successful  development of more than 30 locally-based, community, anti-drug coalitions in the 10-county, tri-state Greater Cincinnati region.

Prior to joining the Coalition in February 2000, Mary served as Executive Director of the Substance Awareness Greater Anderson (SAGA) Coalition in suburban eastern Cincinnati. Under her leadership, SAGA formalized its structure and governance as an independent 501c3 non-profit organization and expanded its communication strategies. Her clinical nursing experience includes an assistant head nurse of adult medical-surgical care and various community health promotion & prevention programs.

MANAGER OF ENVIRONMENTAL PREVENTION STRATEGIES
Tony Martinez, tmartinez@drugfreecincinnati.org

Tony joined the Coalition in March of 2008 after serving as Coordinator of Planning and Development for the Hamilton County Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services Board. At the ADAS board he was responsible for grants management, planning documents, prevention services development and special projects. Prior to his work with Hamilton County, Tony served as a program manager with several organizations including the Clermont Recovery Center, Inc, Citizens Committee on Youth, and Ohio's Resource Network on Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities. Prior to entering social services, Tony developed many significant customer and account development skill sets over his years as a sales consultant in the pharmaceutical industry, and with the Hazelden Foundation.

Tony has certifications as a prevention specialist (OCPS II) and health education specialist (CHES), and has a Master's of Education degree in Community Health Promotion and Education from the University of Cincinnati. Tony has raised three children to adulthood.

COORDINATOR OF COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGIES
Jeff Stewart, JStewart@drugfreecincinnati.org

Jeff joined the Coalition October of 2007.  He holds a degree in communications from Otterbein College, and has experience with ClearChannel and WLWT-TV locally, and served as a communications consultant to Procter & Gamble with Communiskills.  Jeff is currently working on his Masters of Business Administration at Xavier University and his PhD in Business Administration at the University of Cincinnati.

COMMUNITY COORDINATOR
Stacy Mathis, smathis@drugfreecincinnati.org

Stacy Mathis is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) holding a BS in Health Promotion and Education, Community Health and has completed coursework for her Masters in the same area. Stacy's strong project management research and evaluation, and community mobilization and organizing skills are an asset to helping the Coalition engage communities to establish coalitions in areas where they do not currently exist.

SPECIAL PROJECTS COORDINATOR

Erika Wilson, ewilson@drugfreecincinnati.org

Erika joined the Coalition in April 2005. She brings a wide range of experience, education, skills and abilities. She has completed college course work in Office Management, Web Design, and Graphic Design. Her skill sets help maintain an effective, organized and fresh approach to internal office and general business needs of the Coalition.
