Mary Haag, mhaag@drugfreecincinnati.org
Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with an emphasis in business management, from the College of Mount St. Joseph and is an Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist. She is experienced in bringing diverse sectors of the community together to create and implement comprehensive, collaborative approaches to substance abuse prevention. Mary brings to her position 10 years of experience in the field of substance abuse prevention and community coalition building. She has been instrumental in leading the Coalition's successful development of more than 30 locally-based, community, anti-drug coalitions in the 10-county, tri-state Greater Cincinnati region.
Prior to joining the Coalition in February 2000, Mary served as Executive Director of the Substance Awareness Greater Anderson (SAGA) Coalition in suburban eastern Cincinnati. Under her leadership, SAGA formalized its structure and governance as an independent 501c3 non-profit organization and expanded its communication strategies. Her clinical nursing experience includes an assistant head nurse of adult medical-surgical care and various community health promotion & prevention programs.

Tommy joined the Coalition in January of 2011. He holds a Master’s degree in Health Promotion from Miami University (OH) and is certified as a Health Education Specialist (CHES). Before coming to the coalition, he worked as a Senior Health Educator for the Northern Kentucky Health Department. At the Northern Kentucky Health Department, Tommy was responsible for working with local and regional coalitions and community groups aimed at improving health across the lifespan. While with the health department, Tommy also managed such projects as the Nutrition and Physical Activity Self Assessment for Child Care (NAP SACC) program and the School Physical Activity Challenge.
He and his wife currently reside Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
MANAGER OF RESEARCH & EVALUATION

Nicole joined the Coalition in August of 2010. For the Coalition, Nicole will serve as the Manager of Research and Evaluation. She holds a Masters Degree in Health Promotion and Education from the University of Cincinnati. Additionally, Nicole has certifications as a CHES (Certified Health Education Specialist) and as an OCPS II (Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist). Prior to joining the coalition team, Nicole served as the senior health educator for the Ohio Resource Network for Safe and Drug Free Schools and Communities at the University of Cincinnati. She held this position for 11 years where she managed the Ohio Bridgebuilders Research Project, instructed and managed EbasedAcademy.org and coordinated the Ohio Prevention and Education Conference (OPEC). Nicole resides in Maineville, OH with her husband and five year old son, Ryan.
